Teenager remanded over stabbing death
KLANG: The 15-year-old boy who allegedly stabbed seven-year-old Mohamad Kahirul Nizam Riza Azmi Kahirul to death has been remanded for a week.
The boy was brought to the magistrate’s court yesterday in handcuffs where the order was issued.
Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Mat Yusop said police were questioning another boy, Mohd Hafid Ridjai Ridwan, also seven, who alerted neighbours about the attack on Kahirul in a vacant house at Jalan Kiyai Sujuk 17, Taman Seri Wangi in Kapar, on Friday afternoon.
Kahirul, a Year One pupil, suffered three stab wounds – one on the right side of the head and two on his back.
It was reported yesterday that Kahirul was stabbed after disturbing chicken and turkeys belonging to the 15-year-old boy.
